This transcription of the records of Dr. Walter Herrick of the Town of Milan, Dutchess County, New York is a faithful copy of the volume. The original volume which measures 4” by 12” is housed in the historian’s office at the Milan Town Hall on NYS Route 199 east of Red Hook, NY 12571. A photocopy was made of the original and this transcript was produced from it. This record is probably best described as a “daybook” and is a history of Dr. Herrick’s medically related activities from 1872 through 1877.
